Indian Creek Tennis Club was developed by Colin Rudisill in the early 1970s and later purchased and expanded by the late Harold “Pee Wee” Morrison.

In February 2004, Indian Creek was purchased by Don and Amy Campbell with the goal of offering families and individuals a wonderful facility where they can play tennis year-round, receive top quality tennis instruction and coaching, and swim in the summer.

A Salisbury native, Campbell graduated from Van Der Meer’s Tennis University at Sweet Brier, VA, where he earned a professional rating as a tennis instructor. Campbell also has completed advanced training with the Tennis Registry, earning a TU2 certification.

From 1981 to 1989, Campbell was the tennis pro at Catawba Country Club. Since then, he has provided private tennis instruction in Lincoln, Catawba, and Iredell Counties. Campbell also has ranked as high as number one in doubles and number five in singles in North Carolina tennis rankings. He participates in USA League Tennis.
